Position: Speech Therapist (SLP) Contractor

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific speech and language needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and swallowing function.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to support ongoing improvement and communication.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using EMR systems.

Compensation:

• Competitive pay ranging from $55.00 to $75.00 per visit, based on experience and qualifications.

Experience:

• Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in a home health setting.
• New graduates with a passion for home health are encouraged to apply!

Requirements:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification (classroom-based).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Recent physical exam and TB test.
• Familiarity with Therapy Boss and Kinnser EMR systems is an advantage but not required.
